What started as a college class quickly turned into my passion. Soon after I learned how to use my camera, I was hired to photograph a local musician. I realized that I wanted to do this long term and focused on learning everything I could about photography.

I spent years educating myself and earned a Bachelors of Art degree in Photography. Luckily, I was able to work as a photography assistant to an amazing local wedding photographer, while also freelancing and working a full time office job.

Years were spent doing that hustle until I landed a commercial photography job at a local company. That helped my studio product photography and editing skills grow tremendously. It also grew my passion for commercial and product photography.

After the birth of my daughter, I decided to leave the corporate world and focus my days on her, with some occasional freelance work in the mix as well. Now I’m focusing my services on what I love to photograph the most: portraits and product photography
